This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of PlagCheckr ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy. We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time and to take appropriate action against violations.
2. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service for any of the following prohibited purposes:
- Illegal Activities: Using the Service for any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- Intellectual Property Violations:Uploading documents that you do not have the right to analyze, or using report results to infringe on others' intellectual property rights.
- Harassment: Using the Service to harass, threaten, intimidate, or defame any individual or entity.
- Impersonation: Creating accounts under false identities or impersonating another person or organization.
- Data Harvesting: Using the Service to collect, mine, or harvest personal data of others without their consent.
- Spam: Using the Service to generate content for spam, phishing, or other unsolicited communications.
- Reverse Engineering: Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code, algorithms, or AI models used by the Service.
- Automated Access: Using bots, scrapers, or automated tools to interact with the Service without our express written permission.
3. Content Restrictions
You may not upload or submit content that:

5. Fraud and Misuse
The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination:
- Creating multiple accounts to abuse welcome credits or promotional offers
- Using disposable or temporary email addresses to create accounts
- Attempting to circumvent credit deductions or payment systems
- Submitting fraudulent payment evidence or screenshots
- Using VPNs or proxies specifically to circumvent fraud detection systems
- Colluding with others to abuse the Service
6. Consequences of Violations
Violations of this policy may result in one or more of the following actions, depending on the severity and nature of the violation:
- Warning: A formal warning notice for minor first-time violations
- Temporary Suspension: Temporary suspension of account access pending investigation
- Credit Forfeiture: Seizure of remaining credits in the account
- Account Termination: Permanent account deletion for serious or repeated violations
- Legal Action: Referral to law enforcement for violations that constitute criminal activity
We will generally provide notice before taking action, except in cases involving immediate threats to the security of the Service or other users.
